Us and our quotes… We adore ‘um, every single bit of them. Yummm! Allowing those frequencies to form us into a better, more mindful, version of ourselves. Quotes often inspire certain perspectives, motivating us or encouraging contemplation. Today’s selection of self-care quotes are reminders of how valuable self-care in itself is. That self-care is far from selfish and why adjusting our focus more internally will benefit the world.
We love to go all-out on our quote posts, in other words, design complementary quote designs. It not only makes us happy (more than enough reason) it’s also a fun and a more visually appealing way to save them for later, don’t you agree?
That being said, we love our quote posts and we love you as our audience, so if you don’t mind… What kind of quotes would you like to see next on the blog? You name it! Can’t wait to see your input in the comments below!

We always find ourselves struck by the odd numbers of quotes posts ”34 quotes on love” (like why 34..?). Do you feel us? So we do our very best to give that too, some form of meaning. Like the amount is something we took to mind as well, instead of just random without reason.
So why 18 quotes? Well, two reasons mainly:
- 18 years old is that counterpoint where you’re in most countries, officially adult. (Whatever that may mean.) But in a way, it’s also an age where you are confronted with responsibilities and also that of self-care. Moving out, becoming that more independent you.
- And the second reason why we chose 18 quotes to celebrate the value of self-care: 18 is the only positive number that is twice the sum of its digits. Self-care makes you twice as nice in a positive sense, so that’s another win-win.
